On the 16th of November, protesters marched on the sports bar district in St Petersburg FL not far from the waterfront. Protesters emphasized that this war is about oil and has nothing to do with drugs etc.

A number of Trump supporters become quite hostile and confrontational, but none were up for backing their tough guy talk with action. Protesters essentially did a “thunder run” right through the sports bar area where lots of football-following Trump fans were watching games on big screen TV’s.

There were also quite a few supporters indicating they too oppose Trump, deportation, and wars of aggression.

On the 15th of November, activists showed up at the White House to demand Donald Trump cease and desist his violent attacks on and threats against Venezuala.

Trump’s US has bombed Venezualan boats, shot down an unidentified Venezualan aircraft(hope to hell it was a drone!), and is threatening the whole country with war. This is a continuation of the notorious U$ history of “gunboat diplomacy” in the nations south of the Rio Grande. It is also a typical example of the Fascist program of seeking foreign wars, same as Mussolini in Ethiopia or Nazi Germany in the rest of Europe.

Recall also that Trump backed a failed coup attempt in 2019, which had consequences inside DC itself. When the Venezualan Embassy staff was expelled, they handed the keys to Popular Resistance and Code Pink on the way out. After the coup attempt, upscale Venezualan exiles put the embassy under a literal siege that lasted for weeks. It took not one but two attempts for Secret Service to unlawfully sieze the building so it could be handed to the coup plotters’ agents.

I played a small role in that 2019 Embassy defense myself. I was on some of the teams that fought to relieve the siege by delivering food to the defenders.

Arlington, VA—They swept into the a North Arlington neighborhood like a well-organized herd of cats with their weapons of choice, 2.54 cm solid point sticks—made of chalk. They laid a line of block letters spelling ‘SHAME’ in various colors, tall and wide enough to see from a helicopter. For effect, they added giant arrows pointing towards the home of Russell Vought, Director of Office of Management and Budget (OMB). On the sidewalk at the edge of Vought’s lawn, they chalked “USAID Lives In Our Hearts—From The American People.”

The half dozen activists took about a half hour or so to complete the giant block letters. An unmarked security unit sat behind tinted glass in what appeared to be an unmarked police vehicle just feet from them but did not try to stop them. Their antics complete, the chalk affinity group stood in a line looking over their work briefly as if daring the security contingent parked there to come out. Then they faded into the daylight like cats do, as if they hadn’t even been there, leaving their chalk boxes behind like a cat’s paw prints

On the 8th of November, protesters gathered at Tampa City Hall demanding that Isra-Hell free 16 year old Mohammed Ibrahim. Note that there are considerable business links between the Tampa city government and Mayor, and Isra-Hell.

Marchers took the streets, which is not something that is done all that often in Florida due to risks mostly from drivers.

Mohammed Ibrahim was taken hostage by the IOF in February and turned 16 in enemy hands away from his family. He is reported to be in bad shape physically from abuse and neglect and has lost 25% of his body weight. He is in one of Isra-Hell’s worst dungeons, and protesters are demanding he be returned home to his family in FL.

There are a lot of Israeli-backed businesses in Tampa that can be punished if this demand is ignored.

On the 2nd of November, one of the National Disappeared in America/Disappeared in (state the protest held in) protests was held in Tampa, FL. The chosen site was right in front of Tampa Police Department’s headquarters.

Speakers called out Tampa’s Mayor Jane Castor as a Trump collaborator for funding 287(g) while SNAP is cut off and people face starvation-and for terror tactics against people of color as a whole.

Organizations providing speakers included TBISN (Tampa Bay Immigrant Solidarity Network), TIRC (Tampa Immigrant Rights Committee),and TampaSDS.

A silent video shot either from a high pole, a high building, or a drone
has emerged showing DC young people charging the National Guard,
pushing them back, and continuing to advance on them.

Reports have emerged that the National Guard chose to move in on and harass people to force this fight, possibly at DC Mayor Bowser’s orders to cover her no doubt already decided extension of the occupation youth curfew. She is a treacherous collaborator and quisling worth of France’s Vichy head of state Marshall Petain himself

On the 25th of October, protesters showed up on the roadside near Lakeland-Linder International Airport. They were protesting Avelo Airlines, which gets a deep subsidy from Polk County taxpayers-and is flying deportation flights for ICE.

Two counterprotester showed up with the usual Trump crap. One of them was Oath Keeper Benjamin David Schreffler, who has a prior felony conviction yet was open carrying a pistol.

Theme of the entire event was “We the People” no doubt a reference to the menacing political situation in the US for the LGBTQ community.
The lead contingent was in Statue of Liberty drag, presumably symbolizing this. One person carried a sign reading “No Kings only Queens.”

Earlier this year, DeSantis no doubt with the approval of Trump declared war on Orlando’s LGBTQ community with the crusade against rainbow crosswalks and the confrontation over them at Pulse

Corporate contingents were present but not as thick as in prior years, no doubt because Trump punishes corporations for doing anything “DEI” or “woke.” It is not known to me whether the expulsions of kuffiyeh wearing pro-Palestine participants in the Festival were the work of Pride organizers or of the management of Lake Eola. The latter has a known and vicious beef with Palestine protesters.
