Washington DC—Local grassroots groups have been rehearsing their measured response to Trump’s Stalinesque military ruck march slated for June 14. The military parade will tear up DC streets with Army tank squadrons, heavy military trucks, and Humvee vehicles, but the grassroots groups will be nowhere near it. Anyone traveling to Washington DC will get the first read on the people’s resistance messages along nearly every major highway bridge as they travel to watch the $54 million boondoggle.

The groups themselves will not be showing up to protest the military parade because they decided not to give Trump additional attention unlike the mainstream media. Attention is what he craves according to one of the organizers and spinning up any more energy for the military spectacle would only benefit him. So, they brainstormed ways to effectively undercut it with visibility brigades. The idea struck them as perfect for reaching 1000s several times a week to spread public consciousness of how chaotic and hurtful this regime is.

LA’s defenders protesting against ICE, Trump, and the use of the Marines and National Guard against protesters.

At many points protesters chant “peaceful protest” as with ICE not in the act of a raid this was not a combat action. Nonetheless police at one point answered singing by firing a munition of unknown type

UPDATE: Well after midnight cops claimed to be conducting “mass arrests” as protesters defied the curfew and continued to gather in force

Reportback from DC protest against ICE in solidarity with LA

On the 10th of June, protesters gathered on Columbia Heights Plaza in Washington DC. The protest was against ICE, against the military being deployed against protesters, and in solidarity with the hard-pressed defenders of Los Angeles.

A LOT of cops lingered nearby including three whiteshirts one of whom was killer cop Jason Bagshaw. Bicycle cops staged close to the protest with a second group of them further back.

For all those cops on the scene, no attack ever arrived after intimidation failed. While a lot of things could have gone wrong and the risks were high, somehow the peace held. The real worst case was cops attacking the rally, then high on adrenaline assaulting the surrounding community where so many migrants live. Thankfully that did not occur.

The Los Angeles Intifada is spreading. In addition to battles fought in San Francisco, NYC, and Texas, protests are growing in many if not most major cities.

As this is written the defenders of Los Angeles have been fighting for five days and holding the line. Trump has first Federalized CA National Guard troops and sent them into the battle, then sent in Marines as well.

Pro-Palestine activists rally,kayak at Swedish Embassy for Greta and the Madleen crew

On the 9th of June, the IOF intercepted the Freedom Flotilla vessel Madleen and took the entire crew hostage after unleashing a chemical attack on the boat. This assault took place in international waters

Madleen crewmember Greta Thurnburg is Swedish, so protesters showed up at the Swedish Embassy demanding the Swedish government intervene on behalf of their citizen-and on behalf of the entire crew. Two of the protesters took to the water themselves, in a kayak under the Palestinian flag. The Embassy of Sweden is on the Potomac waterfront in Georgetown.

The Madleen is part of the Freedom Flotilla and was attempting to deliver food and emergency aid to Gaza. Next up will be a Turkish attempt to break the blockade and siege.

Tampa holds emergency protest against ICE in solidarity with LA intifada

On the 9th of June, protesters showed up in front of City Hall in Tampa FL demanding an end to ICE raids. Protesters had a Stop ICE Raids banner and at least one Mexican flag. At at least one point in the protest “Free Palestine” was chanted. Many connect growing intifada in the US to the resistance in Palestine to another arm of the same Empire. It takes a Rebellion to overthrow an Empire!

This protest was during City Hall business hours. The Tampa Police Department has signed a 287 (g) agreement with ICE. The mix of FL cops and ICE has been especially vicious due to the sewer of racist hate pouring from the mouth and pen of FL governor and failed Presidential candidate Ron Desantis. Looks like those ICE raids and checkpoints on FL highways may not be such a good idea for the cops anymore, especially near any city.

Heritage Foundation called Nazis, Fascists at furious protest over Project 2025

On the 9th of June, protesters descended on Heritage Foundation’s swanky Capitol Hill office building. Cops blocked the entrance while protesters raised a furious and noisy scene outside.

At one point, someone in traffic turned up in a Cybertruck, to chants from the crowd of “sell it! sell it!”

The Battle of Los Angeles is being fought to stop ICE raids. The ICE raids are taking place as part of the Project 2025 agenda for Trump written by Heritage Foundation. So are the Trump administrations genocidal policies against Palestine and against the LGBTQ+ community. So is the full-throated press to bring back overt Jim Crow/Stop and Frisk policing in the US.

Members of groups being shit on by Trump and Heritage are NOT putting up with it. From LA to San Francisco, from Minneapolis to NYC to DC to Florida, the Intifada is growing, the Flood is coming home.

WorldPride Rally and March gains energy from trans contingent, rain can’t stop it

On the 8th of June, WorldPride 2025 wrapped up with a protest rally and march. This gained considerable energy from the National Trans Visibilty March that fed into it

Near the start as rain fell came chants of “these colors don’t run” reminding MAGA meatheads that we in the LGBTQ+ community are prepared to fight for our right to exist.Speakers condemned the sewer of hate pouring from the mouth and pen of Donald Trump and his minions.

The march that followed the rally pushed right through the rain all the way from the Lincoln Memorial to 3ed st near the US Capitol before dispersing into the festival grounds on Penn Ave. The Festival looked nearly empty at that time. Since rain did not hamper the march, this was probably the fallout from putting the festival in a fenced area accessable only by bag search checkpoints.

As the march ended the sound of trudging boots and shoes became obvious as the rain soaked the gravel of trudging boots the way things are going in the US.

DC/Arlington via DC Media Group:Tesla Takedown Gives Nod To Pride

Arlington, VA—-On World Pride Day the Tesla Takedown boycott line spun resistance twirling rainbow parasols, wearing rainbow lei necklaces, and dancing to a resistance line-up of music over two synchronized speakers. If not for the commitment of the core team of rotating organizers and the continued zeal of the line, it’s likely the most successful corporate brand takedown in terms of diminished Tesla stock value and brand damage, would have fizzled out months ago. But it lives because the organizers and citizens persist.


The Pride theme was promised and delivered in lively color—as members of DC’s own grassroots collective Rainbow Defense Coalition joined forces with grassroots organizers of Third Act to bring the boycott back to Tesla on South Glebe Road for its 18th consecutive weekend. And the boycott line is not close to getting monotonous as evidenced in the weekly video report below.

National Trans Visibility March joins WorldPride’s rally and march

On June 8, the National Trans Visibility March displayed unusual energy as they marched to the meetup for the larger WorldPride rally and march. This was a Sunday morning and in the rain.

Trans folks are facing an existential threat from Trump and his genocidal co-conspirators at this time. That being the case, nobody was going to let the rain get in the way

ICE reportedly plans to “stay” in LA for 30 days of attacks

A report has emerged originally via Tiktok that ICE plans to “stay” in LA for 30 days. This implies much more that whatever ICE would have done there pre-Trump. Such an announcement coming now on the heels of a Federalized National Guard deployment and sighting of a Marine helicopter gunship is nothing less than an announcement of an occupation of the city.

The “enforcement” mentioned is of course 30 days of racist terror and witch-hunts to be defended by armed troops. This has the stench of reprisals by Trump and Hegseth against the city for daring to resist ICE this weekend.
