Speaker against DeSantis’ Gerrymandering removed from FL State House special session

The Florida state house is now in special session for a mid-decade redistricting. DeSantis is pushing a highly gerrymandered map that leaves only 4 non-GOP seats in Congress from Florida.

On the 28th of April, the first day of the session, a voter from Orlando was expelled from the chamber after calling out Trump as a pedophile and his administration for having a platform of “deporting kids, bombing kids, and trafficking kids.” He said GOP legislators were “scared” because that platform is unpopular, and they proved him right by having him expelled from the room instead of answering his remarks.
